Research on PFAS fate and transport in the environment and approaches to get PFAS out of the environment, such as we have been developing in the “PFClean” project (BMFTR-funded) are drawing attention of the general public:
- in a large article “der Fluch der Teflonpfanne” in the nationwide weekly newspaper “die Zeit” and in Zeit Wissen
- in public scientific journals like “Spektrum der Wissenschaft”, the “news of the german engineering society”(behind paywall),
- in public radio station interviews (deutschlandfunk, SWRa and SWRb),
- and in a series of local newspaper articles (Süddeutsche Zeitung, Stuttgarter Nachrichten, Stuttgarter Zeitung, Augsburger Allgemeine, Badisches Tagblatt, Reutlinger Generalanzeiger, etc. as listed on the PFClean homepage)
